Paying Your Invoice
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PayPal is the official payment processing system for the Log House Lodge.
How it works:
1. You request a room reservation date using our online reservation system.
2. We accept your reservation and send you both a confirmation email and a separate PayPal invoice by email. (We will hold your reservation for 48 hours. If your invoice is not paid in that time it is assumed your plans have changed and your reservation will be canceled.)
3. The email invoice you receive contains a link at the bottom that takes you to the PayPal site for payment. The resulting page should look like this:

4. If you have a PayPal account, your computer may try to log you in to your account.
.....a. If you log in to PayPal and wish to pay using your PayPal account go ahead and do so. In a couple of clicks you’ll be done. But...
.....b. If you log in and wish to pay using a different credit card than the one attached to your PayPal account simply go to your PayPal account home page and click on the "Send Money" tab. Like this:

Then enter the amount requested and the email account to send it to, both found on your invoice and pay with your credit card.
5. If you do not have a PayPal account, simply click on the link at the bottom of the PayPal page that says "Use your credit card or bank account (where available)."

6. If for some reason the PayPal page does not have the link that is circled above use this button as a last resort:
The “Donate” button will take you to a “donation” page that works very much like the “Send Money” page in #4b above. The only difference is you don’t need a PayPal account. All you need besides a credit card are the amount to “donate” and the account email address to “donate” it to, both of which can be found on your invoice. ( PayPal calls it a donation, but the funds end up in the same destination as any of the other options above.)
7. Sometimes PayPal’s system just doesn’t like your card. (They are overly cautious.) They won’t tell you anything, just won’t allow you to use your card. If this happens, call PayPal at (888) 221-1161. You can probably persuade them to “unlock” your card. If you still have problems, contact us.
